I have been lucky enough to have one of my images included in an exhibition at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham.

The exhibition celebrates emotional and mental wellbeing through the arts.

After a few words of encouragement from a dear family member, I decided to enter IGPOTY 2009 at Kew Gardens.

I submitted 5 images and once the winners were announced, I got the following feedback from the IGPOTY team:

"You did very well in the competition. Your image of Palm Bark won through to the penultimate round of judging which means it beat off a lot of competition from thousands of other entries. Well done."
